Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Eversource Energy.
Administrative Assistant
The interview was a panel with 5 people. They asked about teamwork and multitasking. I don't recommend the company though. They had 5 openings for the same job at the same time, and when I asked why, they were hesitant to answer. I also found out one of the managers' husband is friends with me on Facebook, and they looked me up. It felt too toxic and gave me a bad vibe. That was enough for me.
- Can you share an experience where you collaborated within a team?
- Describe your approach to managing multiple competing tasks simultaneously.
Administrative Assistant
It was a really long interview process. I was interviewed by 2 supervisors and their boss, who also happens to be the head of 2 other substations. They had a booklet of questions they went through and asked me. I think it took about an hour, and they wanted examples after each answer.
- Can you describe how you would handle a difficult customer?
- Tell me about the most difficult situation you have faced in the last six months.
- How would you describe yourself?
Executive Assistant
I had an initial phone call with HR and the person currently in the role. Then I met with the Exec for the final interview. Background check and offer followed.
- How do you handle juggling multiple tasks?
