The interview process took a long time, about 2 months after the initial call to hear any official update. I had to reach out twice for any news on whether or not I was moving forward. Finally, they let me know they were looking for someone more senior. I understand there has been a high volume of candidates, but candidate experience is incredibly important. Having candidates wait months to hear back any update is really saddening.

The interview process was super quick and efficient. The company and team were really responsive and gave great insights into the team's day-to-day work. They showed a lot of appreciation for me as a candidate. It had two main parts: first, an interview with the hiring manager, and then a second interview with team members.

The whole process from phone screen to scheduling the onsite interview went super fast. The interview itself was set for the middle of the day, which meant I had to take the entire day off for a 4-hour interview. The interview questions were pretty simple, and most of the interviewers were easy to chat with, except for one. My main issue was with the follow-up after the interview. The hiring manager kept saying 'candidate experience is #1' but after I sent a follow-up email, I still haven't heard anything after a month and a half. It's kind of a bummer when they brag about candidate experience but don't follow through. Also, nobody offered me water during the interview; everyone else had their own coffee or water, and it wasn't noticed that I didn't have anything. Again, a bit disappointing regarding the 'candidate experience' they talk so much about.
