First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Everpure.
Engineering Manager
I got to the second round, and more rounds would definitely follow, like a round with the hiring manager (an engineering director) and at least one more with the team of engineers. The flow I experienced was a screen call, then a first interview about management experience and skills, followed by a second interview about CS tech experience and skills, and then... more to come.
- Describe your approach to conducting 1:1 meetings.
- Can you share your methods for fostering talent within your team?
- Tell me about a time you had to manage an underperforming individual contributor and how you handled it.
Software Engineering Manager
My interview experience at Pure Storage Prague involved 2 rounds of interviews. Initially, I had a recruiter call, followed by two interviews: one technical and one managerial. These interviews were conducted very fairly, focusing on assessment rather than tricking candidates. The interviewers were notably nice and respectful. After this, I had a constructive feedback session with the recruiter, where I was informed I'd be moving forward. The subsequent round consisted of two more interviews, again technical and managerial, this time with the hiring manager. Similar to the first round, these were also very respectful and fair. The process concluded with a final feedback session with the recruiter, who provided clear and reasonable feedback explaining why I wouldn't be proceeding. Overall, it was a smooth and respectful process that I enjoyed, with a reasonable timeline and consistent updates. I'd recommend it and would consider working there if the opportunity arose.

Senior Engineering Manager
Recruiter reached out via LinkedIn, and the initial call was professional. They set up a screening. The person leading the screening seemed to be looking for a junior individual contributor or a junior manager with IC duties, not someone to handle complex architectural problems. It was clear they wanted a senior manager to write a program to reverse a linked list. I decided not to continue after the first screening.
- Tell me about yourself / Describe a challenging situation you faced. and how you dealt with it
- Can you write a program to reverse a linked list?
