The interview process took about two months. It started with a technical assessment. Then, the first in-person interview happened, covering core Salesforce concepts and two coding questions (Triggers and LWC). The second round was with an Architect, focusing again on Salesforce concepts and a detailed review of my past projects. The third round, also with an Architect, emphasized Salesforce design, where I had to propose solutions for various scenarios. Lastly, there was an HR discussion.

I interviewed on Jan 31st, and I thought all the rounds went well. But after that, I heard nothing. Then, at the end of February, they said my HR round would be scheduled within a week. Ever since then, it's been radio silence. No one is picking up calls or replying to emails from HR. Even the person who helped me get this opportunity hasn't responded. Seriously, they need to step up their communication game and give people updates after interviews. It's a terrible candidate experience to have zero follow-up after multiple interview stages.

Technical

So, the interview was 2 rounds, and both were technical. The first one was about an hour long. They asked me about my projects and some concepts like rag, deep learning, and other fundamental stuff. It felt like a medium-level interview. The second round was mainly about projects too, and they asked about vector databases. This one was shorter, about 35 mins. I interviewed in person on Jan 10th. They mentioned there would be a third round, but I haven't heard back since then. Overall, it was a good experience, though.

Behavioral Technical

Got this interview set up through a third party, took about 10-12 days to get it scheduled. I'd read online that interviewers are often late, and that happened here – the person in India was 5 mins late and the one in the US was 10 mins late. The senior US person seemed more up for a chat, but the India-based interviewer drilled me with technical questions, focusing heavily on Kanban, which I guess I'm not as familiar with as they are. It felt like they were trying to prove I wasn't a good fit, especially since the company is going through a transformation and this person was really into Kanban. They seemed to be trying to impress their boss, and honestly, I didn't want to engage much further. The focus was on metrics, which felt very managerial, and the interviewer even mentioned their certifications upfront, which was odd. I did question their approach to metrics, and that's when they started lecturing about agile values, skipping the expected step and jumping straight to metrics. By the end, I felt relieved it was over; it felt more like a good escape than a potential job. About a week later, I got a rejection email, which I kind of expected on the interview day, but honestly, I didn't care.
