Customer Service Representative
The whole interview process seemed a bit off from the beginning. I went through three interview rounds and a lot of the questions focused on company culture. They never turned their cameras on, so I never really had a conversation with anyone. All the interviews felt very rehearsed and insincere. I repeatedly asked for details about the job, what a typical day would involve, and about the benefits, but my questions were never answered. Whenever I tried to push for more information, the response was always, 'I don't have the specifics on that.' While I could understand this during an initial screening, it was strange that they still lacked answers even in the third interview. Many questions felt out of place for a job interview, like asking about my Myers Briggs and Enneagram results, if I'm more 'OCD' than my best friend (which felt a bit disrespectful to use a mental health condition that way), and if I was committed to the company. A day after my final interview, they requested my social media accounts and then I was ghosted after sending them. The pay was going to be low, and the role was only as an independent contractor (1099). The overall company culture vibes were weird. It's probably for the best that it didn't work out.

Customer Service Representative
I put in my application for the job, and then I was given an online assessment with a few questions about my personality and how I approach work. After that, I was invited to a video interview on Zoom. The interview was pretty nice; the person interviewing me was polite, professional, and friendly. They asked me about my past experiences in similar customer service jobs and work settings, and about how I would handle different customer service situations.
- What is the most obscure event you have been tasked with organizing?
