Database Administrator
Overall a better interview experience. The staff were quite good and engaging. You need to focus more on technical and communication aspects more. First there was an Aptitude and SQL test, then an HR and Managerial interview, and finally shortlisting based on performance.
- Tell me about yourself.
- Can you walk me through your projects?
- Do you have any other questions for HR?
Java Developer
I will be attending a written test that includes both technical and aptitude questions, followed by Technical Interview 1 and Technical Interview 2. After these rounds, the final stage will be an interview conducted together by the HR and the Technical Lead.
- Can you explain your experience with in-depth Java coding, including Data Structures and Algorithms?
- Can you provide an in-depth explanation of your past projects?
- What are some technical questions you might ask?
DevOps Engineer
So the interview process for DevOps usually starts with looking at your resume, then a technical call. After that, you might get some coding or scripting tests, and then there are system design talks. They also check your CI/CD pipeline knowledge and how well you know cloud infrastructure. The last step is usually a chat about your behavior and if you'd fit the team culture.
- Can you start in one month?
Software Engineer Trainee
So there were 3 rounds in total. The first round was a written test covering aptitude, core Java, advanced Java, and Spring. I took this in February. Then, they called me for the second round in May, which was a technical round. This technical round involved both theory questions and a coding exercise. The interviewer for this round was friendly and asked about oops, multithreading, collections, exception handling, and then gave some programs like swapping numbers, finding the largest number, and even/odd program. The last round was a mix of HR, managerial, and technical aspects. There were two interviewers, a man and a woman who joined via video conference. They asked a lot of personal questions like where I live, why I chose to come by metro, about my parents' work location, how many people attended the interview, if I knew anyone in the company, etc. Then, the male interviewer gave me a programming problem, and the female interviewer asked me to talk about the organization. She started laughing when I spoke. I had read reviews mentioning personal questions and laughter during interviews, but after the second round, I thought it wasn't true. However, the last round proved those reviews right, and it changed my mind about joining the company. It seems like many people in the company know each other beforehand, possibly as friends or relatives. Some interviewers are good and ask relevant domain questions, while others aren't. It really depends on luck whether you get a good interviewer or not.
- Tell me about oops.
- What do you know about multithreading?
- Explain collections.
