The interview process was decent, but it required being in the office 5 days a week. They ghosted me after the interview, which was for Workday integrations. They asked for very specific skills, and the interviewer didn't even know why those specific skills were needed.

I had a recruiter screening and then 3 calls with the team and leadership. The recruiter was great, super responsive. The interviews themselves were a letdown though - the interviewers basically said they had to stick to a script. It felt really impersonal, not engaging at all, and they just seemed to be checking boxes instead of actually talking to me.

It was a pretty chill interview process, with cool people to talk to. It wasn't like a typical engineering interview, as it was way less technical than other places I've interviewed. The process involved: 1. A phone call with a recruiter to go over my experience. 2. A technical assessment, which is available on their public GitHub, where I had to build out endpoints. 3. A Zoom call with a Senior Engineer to discuss my experience at a high level; it was somewhat technical but felt more behavioral. 4. A Zoom call with the Hiring Manager, a Senior Engineer, and a Product Manager; this was very casual, a high-level overview of my experience, and heavily behavioral.

The interview process included 3 calls with different people from the department after an initial HR call about the job and company. All three interviews were pretty laid-back, which was nice. Everyone was friendly. The first interview was with a consultant, the second with a managing consultant, and the final one with the director of integrations. They were all casual, mainly focused on getting to know you. It felt less stressful than other interviews I've had for technical roles. Expect standard questions about your resume, past projects, what drives you, and your reasons for wanting to work at Topbloc.
