Project Manager
It started with a quick look at my resume and past work. Then we talked about the project management methods I've used and my experience at my last few jobs, including my role, the tools I used, what I did, and any tough parts of the projects.
- Can you tell me about a project you're working on now and the difficulties you're facing?
Project Manager
Got a LinkedIn message about a role, set up a call for the next day. During the call, they said it was actually a different job, not the one in the description. After reviewing my experience, they thought I might be overqualified. They mentioned it was an entry-level salary, but I have over 6 years of experience. I declined the offer. It felt like a waste of time to be contacted for a position and then be told I'm too qualified after they looked at my background.
- What are your expectations for your next position?
Project Manager
First, I had a quick chat with an Apex recruiter to make sure I was a good fit. After that, they set up an interview with the actual client. The recruiter even came with me to the client's place to make sure I met the right person and then checked in with me afterward to see how it went. As soon as they got word back from the client, the recruiter was super fast to share all the feedback and let me know what the next steps were.
- Tell me about your greatest strengths.
