First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Everforth Apex Systems.
Customer Service Representative
They asked me to talk about a time I dealt with a tough customer and how I managed it. They also wanted to know about my years of experience in customer service, if I'm open to learning new systems, and if I can pass a drug test and background check.
- Tell me about a challenging customer interaction you've had.
- How many years have you worked in customer service?
- Are you willing to get familiar with new systems?
Customer Service Representative
I had a quick 30-minute recruiter call on a Monday. She asked if I could start the following week, and I said yes. Then she called back saying I would start that same Friday, which I confirmed I was available for. I completed all the onboarding paperwork and showed up for the team's initial meeting before the official training, only to find out I hadn't received the links for the training scheduled for the first official training day. After waiting all morning, the recruiter called, apologizing and saying my hire date would be two weeks later. A week before the training was supposed to start, I was notified they had hired two other reps, so they let me go before I even began. I was really frustrated to have waited 3 weeks only to not be hired in the end.
- Can you tell me about your past experience?
Customer Service Representative
I was found on indeed by a recruiter who gave me all the details about the job and company. Then I was asked for an updated resume and set up with a hiring manager. I had a phone/FaceTime interview with the hiring manager a few days later. The hiring manager made it sound like I had the job, but the recruiter was supposed to call me the same day with the decision. It's now the second day and I haven't heard anything, so I guess I didn't get it. Based on other reviews, this seems to be normal for them – not following up after interviews.
- What are you not looking for in a company, and what are you looking for?
