Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Everforth Apex Systems.
Consultant
It was a two-stage interview process. First, I had a phone interview with someone from Apex. Then, I had a face-to-face meeting with the client, who would be my direct manager.
- Can you provide a detailed description of your experience relevant to this position?
Consultant
The initial phone interview felt casual and friendly. Following that, there was an in-person meeting with the recruiters, which was also pretty low-key and relaxed. I got a really good vibe from the team; they were incredibly supportive and communicated well, with Ian and Sarah being particularly outstanding with their people skills. Unfortunately, due to some health-related reasons requiring employer-paid insurance or a salary higher than what this role offered (though the role was within my skill set and the pay was appropriate), I had to turn down the final meeting with the employer. Otherwise, I would have been keen to join Apex.
- Can you describe your preferred work environment?
Consultant
It was easy. They asked basic questions about my work history. There were also personality type questions like 'what would you do in this situation?' They wanted to know about my past experience working with others, how I handle stress, and so on.
- What would you do if a coworker was acting illegally?
