It was a really chill interview, not too stressful. My interviewer was super nice and explained the role and what I'd need to pick up on the job.

First I spoke with a manager and they asked me if I had any questions about the job. Then I had another conversation where the interviewer wanted me to ask questions and after that they asked me 3-4 questions.

It was a pretty standard 6-stage interview process, like rapid fire, with a 15-minute break in the middle. The whole thing was done over Microsoft Teams and was okay, but the main reason for my negative experience was the length and the lack of any real feedback apart from 'they thought you had a fantastic skill set but chose a person with more experience'. I've since found a role elsewhere, but I wish they'd given me some constructive criticism.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Standard questions like why actuarial, why this company, about your CV, and why you would be suited for the role.
  • Most of the interviewers were really nice, especially the younger ones, but some seemed a bit condescending.
