The interview was really draining, not because questions were hard or unrelated, but because the interviewer would not stop talking. The interview was supposed to last 30 minutes and ended up being of 45, which would be ok if it was due to more time needed. The first 15 minutes were an intro from the interviewer, who then took the floor again after the first question. Out of 45 minutes, probably 15 maximum in total were left to the candidate. At some point it was genuinely hard to stay focused. The interviewer kept venting about time management problems related to the workload of the role. At the end the interviewer said there would have been an offer in case they were still looking for someone for the available starting date.

Got an email for the First Interview 3 weeks after I sent the application. First Interview: With the HR/Acquisition, asking about what I want, my experience in short, and what the company and role are about. Second Interview (1 day after the 1st): With the Team Lead, talked more technical about the role and what the responsibilities are, and just my experience in a more technical way. Third Interview (same day as the 2nd): Interview with the Hiring Manager of the position, Talked more about me, my motivations a bit about my experience etc. Got an Offer the day after the 2nd and 3rd Interview. It was the fastest Interview process I ever did in my whole life. Well Done!

I got a call from HR to set up the first interview. We picked a time, and I made sure my schedule was clear. But then, after waiting 10 minutes, they emailed to say the HR person was too busy and canceled. We rescheduled. This time, they showed up, we talked, and they told me what the next steps and timeline would be. But then, almost two months went by with no word, not even a rejection – just total silence. I emailed the HR person to ask about the status, and it took two weeks to get a reply, which was just an automated rejection saying they'd keep my data and I could apply for other jobs, which seems unlikely now.

The interview process has four stages. First, there's an assessment with a coding challenge where you code a small problem and send it back. If it goes well, you proceed. Next, a recruiter call, which is a more casual chat about your background and what they're looking for. If they like you, you get the go-ahead. Then, you have a call with two team leads. They'll introduce themselves, talk about the team's challenges and tech stack, and ask about your comfort with different coding languages. They'll also inquire about your coding solution – how you'd improve it, if you tested it, etc., plus some embedded C questions. The final stage before an offer is a call with the VP, but unfortunately, my interview was cancelled last minute before this round, so I don't have details on it. Overall, it was a pleasant and relaxed experience. I enjoyed it and thought it seemed like a great place to work, though I wish we could have completed it.
