Account Manager
So after graduating, I'd spent several years in restaurant management, which gave me experience on both sides of the interview table. Evantage's process really stands out for assessing mutual fit. While sitting down with someone gives you some info, you really need to see them in action to gauge their true character. Their interview process provides an in-depth look at how the company operates, especially considering they've expanded over 15 times in 7 years. In the second interview, I shadowed a corporate trainer, visiting business owners they had appointments with and discussing potential relationships with others. I even had the chance to interact with existing customers, helping to build rapport and trust. This hands-on relationship-building aspect reminded me of the restaurant industry and showed how my skills could translate. The 'shadow' style interview was fantastic because it offered a realistic look at a typical day and allowed them to see the skills that could make me successful. For the third interview, I met with the president, we discussed the day's activities, and went into more detail about the compensation structure, which led me to accept the offer on the spot.

Account Manager
I got a call offering me an interview at their office in Plano. I met with the manager, Anthony, for the first round, and he said I made it to the next round the following day. This round involved company specifics, format, and a 2-hour training session, after which I would receive a phone call interviewing me about my experience and a possible job offer. I thought the training would be in the same office, but my training manager drove me to Walmart to sell cable to customers. This was shocking as I was dressed in a business suit and expected an office or AT&T store setting. Customers were uninterested, and the Walmart store manager complained about the company's salespeople, even asking them to leave before. This happened during my interview. I felt ashamed and lied to about the job. To make it worse, the training manager hit on me, asked personal questions, and shared personal details. I was shocked and found it unprofessional, rude, and creepy. I doubt they do background checks. When asked if I wanted the job, I declined, but he said I'd be offered it anyway because they needed people. I was upset about the deceptive and unprofessional experience. Anthony, the boss of my training manager, called me twice after the interview, but I didn't answer due to anger and humiliation. I drove over an hour for two days for this experience.

Account Manager
The first interview was a quick chat with the company's president about baseball, football, his company vision, and how I could fit in. The second interview was a job shadow where I shadowed a top performer, learned the ropes, talked to clients, and promoted the company. He also explained career progression. The third interview was back with the president, reviewing the day with input from the top performer.
