I had a good first interview, then met with the franchise owner, Susan, who seemed nice. She said I was the only one moving on and they wanted to hire me. But then later that day, they changed their minds and went with someone else. It felt like a bait and switch, honestly. Made me wonder about how they do things.

First, there's a phone interview where they email you a script to memorize. Then, there's a face-to-face interview. You can't be more than 1 minute late, or they won't interview you. You'll be asked to re-cite the script for them. After that, there's a series of pretty average questions. When they ask you where else you have applied, they are making sure you didn't apply everywhere and are just looking for any job. If they feel you are the right fit, they will invite you back for a 3rd interview.

I had a zoom interview for European Wax Eastchester and Westchester in New York. The interviewer was immediately cold and not dressed professionally, which was concerning. Although she liked my resume initially, during the zoom interview, she decided I wasn't fit for a manager role anymore and suggested I be a sales associate instead. She seemed disappointed with my appearance, feeling it didn't match my resume.
