If your resume passes, there are 3 rounds in total. Round 1 is an online test with 3 parts: analyzing skills (doing calculations about market size, per capita, etc.), reasoning skills (analyzing a retail store sales dataset and answering 5 questions), and finding required info online with links. Round 2 is a telephone interview. Round 3 is a PPT test.

I got in through a referral and the whole thing took over 6 weeks. It started with a recruiter phone screen, then a case study with the hiring manager where I had to figure out the market size for a product. Next up was a math/excel test to check my analytical abilities. After that, I had to give a 15-minute presentation to the hiring managers based on some info they sent and my own analysis. If I passed that, the final step was a quick chat with the director of consulting so they could get to know me.

After a couple of initial calls that focused on skills and fit, I met with the team manager. They then explained more about the role and their team structure, mentioning they have regional contacts for research support. The next step was supposed to be a presentation on a given topic, but it turned into a Q&A without much prep time. They asked a question about researching chocolate consumption in Brazil. My answers about using credible sources and talking to local contacts were dismissed, with feedback like 'Yeah, but no.' and a preference for 'in-house' methods, which seemed very restrictive and like no answer would be correct. It felt like they weren't really engaged or wanted to be there.
