It was quite a journey. A recruiter put me up for it, but the job wasn't really biz dev or standard consulting; it was more like research with some client interaction. Basically, you'd dig data from their system and sell it. Might suit social science grads. Started with a phone screen, then met the head of the department for some role-playing. Next up was a mock pitch. After that, they actually recommended me for a different role and I did a fourth round. This new role felt like it was made up on the spot with unclear duties. I prepped my presentation but only got five minutes in before being cut off. They said they'd follow up, but I never heard back. The products are cool and have strong features. I enjoyed the interviews and case studies; they really try to engage you intellectually and want to see if you get their business and can fit in. Communication was smooth and feedback was timely until the ghosting. But, they don't seem to market the roles well – no clear title, just 'Business Development - Consulting,' which is confusing. The HK office also felt a bit disorganized. I wouldn't recommend the hassle for a role there unless you're just looking to practice interview skills; then, it's a good chance for some professional mock calls.

They contacted me really fast after I applied online and scheduled my phone interview right away. In total, I had 5 interviews since they were considering me for 2 different positions. The first was a quick call with the recruiter, and then I had two more interviews with team leaders. Honestly, it felt like a lot for a role that wasn't super high-responsibility or paid exceptionally well. By the end, before I even knew the outcome, I felt like it was a bit of a waste of everyone's time. However, the interview experience itself was good, and I got to try out their main product's demo.

It was a really straightforward and fast process, and I have no complaints. The interviewers were nice and laid-back, and they made an effort to help me feel comfortable. Most of the questions focused on my background and education to see if I had the necessary skills.
