Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Eurofins.
Chemist
The interview was held on site. I met with one person and they asked me basic questions about my experiences, along with some situational questions. Finding the interview location was a bit tricky and parking was limited. The actual experience while I was there was fine. However, I never heard back after the interview, even though I tried reaching out multiple times.
- Can you describe a time you had to handle a difficult situation with a coworker?
Scientist
The whole hiring process for this role was super fast and easy. Right after I applied, things moved quickly. First, I submitted my application and got contacted for an initial interview in just two weeks. Then, I had a one-on-one with a recruiter to chat about my background and goals. After that, within 2 days, I had a Zoom call with the managers to talk about the team and the role. By the end of that week, I got an offer! It was a really straightforward and quick experience from start to finish.
- Tell me about a time you had to learn a new software.
- Are you open to learning Storyline, which is a new LMS we'll be using soon?
Scientist
So first you apply online, like on their website or whatever. Then, if you seem to fit, a recruiter will give you a call to chat and see if you're a good fit. If that goes well, you'll have your first interview, could be in person, phone, or video. You'll probably talk to the hiring manager or someone on the team about your background and stuff. If they like you, you might have a second interview. This one could be with more people, and they might ask harder questions about the job, how you solve problems, or what you'd do in certain situations. For science jobs, they might also give you a test or a task to see your skills.
- Can you introduce yourself and discuss your project management background?
- What led you to pursue a career in project management?
- What are your strategies for staying organized and managing your time efficiently?
