First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Eurofins.
Co-Op Student
I met with two managers who gave me a detailed overview of the position and asked questions about difficult situations they thought I might face on the job. There was also a written quiz, which was unexpected. The interview was casual and the interviewers made the environment comfortable and put me at ease, perhaps noticing I was a bit stressed. It was an enjoyable process, and I felt I had a good understanding of the position and what would be needed of me if hired. The whole thing lasted about 20 minutes.
- Could you identify GMP errors on this inspection report?
Student Assistant
The interview was conducted by two people. They were generally friendly and focused on the applicant's strengths, not weaknesses. However, only the minimum hourly wage was offered. I was also introduced to other employees. There was an opportunity to talk with potential colleagues on my own and ask questions.
- Could you tell me about the main focus of your studies?
- What kind of experience do you have with laboratory work?
Intern
I got a call from a recruiter to set up an interview time. When I got there, the interviewer met me in the lobby and we went to a conference room. They asked me about my past experience and for some examples of school projects I'd done to see what lab skills I had. It was a really chill interview, I didn't feel any pressure at all. They offered me the internship on the spot.
- What lab instruments have you used in your college courses?
- Can you tell me about some of the projects you completed during your time in school?
- What lab skills can you demonstrate?
