The hiring process was quite smooth. About a week after I applied, they set up an interview (one-on-one). The person interviewing me was really good at communicating and seemed to genuinely care about employee well-being, considering outside factors. This was consistent in later interviews too.

The process wasn't straight through, the interview had some initial technical hiccups which was normal. The interviewing process seemed like I was being interrogated by police officers to prove I didn't know what I knew or have the experience I have.

I was first contacted by a recruiter to have a chat about the company and role. We talked about the company and role, then I was asked about my skills and experience and how they'd apply. After the recruiter call, I got an email with more info, like the job description and details about LKQ. I then decided to proceed with the interview process at the branch. I had a meeting with the branch manager, who was really positive about the company's success. I also spent half a day at a branch, which was a great way to see how the role fits into the branch operations and sales process. This whole thing took about two weeks. The recruiter then got back to me for feedback. They liked my experience and how I interviewed. I was offered the job, and accepted after confirming salary. I started four weeks later.

I was first contacted by a recruiter about the company and the role. We had a phone chat where they gave me the lowdown on the company and the position. They asked me about my skills and experience and how they'd fit. After that chat, I got an email with more info, including the job description and some details about the parent company, LKQ. I then decided to go for an interview at the branch. I met with the manager, who was super enthusiastic about the company and the branch's success. I also spent a half-day shadowing in the branch, which was really insightful for understanding how the role affects the rest of the team and the sales and operations side of things. This whole process took about two weeks. The recruiter then got back to me for feedback. They were happy with my experience and thought I interviewed well. I was offered the job, and after agreeing on salary, I accepted and started four weeks later.
