Applied on Indeed and got a phone call from a corporate recruiter pretty quickly. Then had an online assessment with a one-way video interview where I had to answer two questions. The final interview was onsite and in-person, lasting over 2 hours. I met with the hiring managers for both departments, the regional VP, and the recruiting managers for both departments. The whole process was super easy, and they were really clear and accurate about when to expect the next steps. It was a really comfortable experience, and everyone I talked to was easy to chat with and super enthusiastic about their jobs, the company, and the industry. Excited to start soon!

The interview process was mostly online, which was fine. The in-person part felt a bit strange. I could tell the interviewer wasn't looking for someone from my generation. To add to the feeling of being disregarded, the first two interviewers seemed to want a lot of back-and-forth, but after the in-person meeting, it was like I vanished. In 2018, you'd expect a company to at least send a rejection email.

I applied online and got contacted by a corporate recruiter from ettain within two days, which was like a pre-screening. After that, they had me do an online assessment with word analogies, math, and personality questions, probably to filter candidates. Then, the recruiter called again to set up a phone interview with the hiring manager for that office. I spoke with the hiring manager a week later over the phone; the interview was pretty basic, asking about my interest in ettain group and this specific location, and my knowledge of recruiting and ettain. They then invited me for an in-person interview at the office, which included a job shadow. This was another basic interview process where I met the hiring manager and then had two more rounds of interviews with long-term employees. Finally, I met with other technical recruiters to understand the job better and ask questions. The hiring manager told me I'd hear back in two days, and I got the offer by phone three to four days later, accepting it the same day. It was an easy and painless process, and I'm happy with my job at ettain.

I had one interview and they said they would make a decision the following week, which they did. The interview itself was not held in a great place and was too unstructured, which threw me off, especially for the job I would be doing. It seemed like the hiring manager didn't know how to interview and didn't give an accurate picture of the job, work pace, team structure, or daily activities. The interview was in a supposedly relaxed setting, but it was noisy because other hiring managers were also interviewing. It was too noisy and distracting to be a good interview setting.
