Applied online and then received the outreach from HR. 1st round: HR screening, nothing technical, just self-intro, and introduce the role and interview process. 2nd round: share with you a dashboard, and ask you to share insights; some questions on your resume; some easy case questions. 3rd round: technical, very simple SQL and ab testing questions. Final panel interview (I guess it will be 4x30min). HR is very nice, and will call you ahead of time to talk about what panel looks like -- mostly behavior; however they stopped hiring for this role when I was half in the panel interview :(
- Can you explain how to perform A/B testing?
- How would you approach A/B testing?

The interview process started with a recruiter call, followed by a 1-hour coding tech screen on HackerRank. Then there was a 2-day virtual onsite with 5 interviews, including 2 ML focused ones, 1 coding, 1 product, and 1 hiring manager interview. After the onsite, I had a 15min chat with the recruiter. The interviewers were nice and the questions seemed fair. The recruiter call before the onsite was helpful for preparation. The virtual onsite felt a bit too long, and the additional coding session wasn't really needed as it was similar to the tech screen. Post-interview communication was really bad.

It was a great interview process that lasted about 3 weeks. I got contacted by a recruiter the day after I applied, which was awesome. Then came a few interview rounds: first, an HR phone screen where we mostly talked about my background. Next, I spoke with the hiring manager about my experience, did a case study, and took a medium-level technical test. The last step was a full-day onsite interview with four people, which included a case study, technical questions, and behavioral questions to see how I work and interact with others. I was a bit worried because of some Glassdoor reviews, but everyone was really responsive and kept me updated. A cool thing they did was send an Etsy gift card after the onsite if I filled out a survey about the interview experience. It's clear they're serious about hiring and improving things for candidates. The positive and supportive vibe was a big reason I accepted the offer.
- Questions about case studies were asked.
- Technical questions were asked.
