Customer Service Representative
So I had this short 15-minute chat with Jennifer, who was super nice and set up an in-person interview. When I got there, she met me outside and gave me a quick look around the department before we went to a room to meet two managers. They had a list of questions and took notes as I answered them, around 10-15 questions total. After that, we did this exercise where I had to use their website to find answers to their questions, kind of like a role-play. I totally crushed it! I also had to write a fake email to a customer about a product. Then, the managers left for a bit, and Jennifer came back to say they needed more time to decide. Honestly, I knew I didn't get it then because they usually make offers right after. Oh well, their loss!

I applied at etrailer and after a short wait, a manager spoke with me about my availability and previous work experience. They mentioned I'd be contacted about an interview. The next day, I got a call to schedule an interview for later that week. It ended up being a panel interview with three interviewers. I was a little worried about the panel format, but it wasn't too difficult.
- Describe a time you had a disagreement with a coworker and how you resolved it.
- Can you tell me a little about yourself, perhaps including your hobbies?

You fill out an application on a computer in person. You'll need to type a sample business email and answer some customer service questions. I'm pretty sure this is timed, so be ready. After finishing the application, you'll chat with a manager for a few minutes. They'll mainly ask about your availability and past experience. If they decide to move forward, you'll have a panel interview. The questions were very focused on customer service, and the vibe was pretty friendly.
- Can you share an instance where you had to deliver negative news to a customer and describe your approach?
