Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

So I had this short 15-minute chat with Jennifer, who was super nice and set up an in-person interview. When I got there, she met me outside and gave me a quick look around the department before we went to a room to meet two managers. They had a list of questions and took notes as I answered them, around 10-15 questions total. After that, we did this exercise where I had to use their website to find answers to their questions, kind of like a role-play. I totally crushed it! I also had to write a fake email to a customer about a product. Then, the managers left for a bit, and Jennifer came back to say they needed more time to decide. Honestly, I knew I didn't get it then because they usually make offers right after. Oh well, their loss!

The interview felt straightforward, although it involved meeting with the whole writing team. It was a bit nerve-wracking to face everyone at once, but it was also a great opportunity to get acquainted with the team from the start.

The application process is only on-site and takes a really long time. They were slow to call back after the application, and the face-to-face interview was pretty basic. Overall, it seems like they struggle to match people to jobs where they'd do best. This leads to very high employee turnover, and they just keep putting people in roles hoping things will improve.

Don't bother with this company. I went through one of the WEIRDEST interview processes ever. They asked me so many personal questions totally unrelated to the simple job. It felt like they judged and disqualified me just from my resume and experience, which is actually great. They should just say if they want experienced people in the job posting. This job is super easy, but I didn't even get a chance, and I have no clue why. Save your time with this small, new company. I was not impressed at all with their lack of professionalism.
