First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ethicon Endo-Surgery.
Product Development Engineer
So I had this initial phone screen with HR, and they just wanted to confirm my experience and tell me about the job. After that, I got scheduled for a phone interview with the Hiring Manager and two other managers from the team. The questions were all about the qualifications and experience from the job listing, which was nice because I could prep. Then, I had a full-day interview on-site where I met with a bunch of managers and engineers. All the questions were about how I'd use my experience with Johnson & Johnson's core values. They covered my hotel and reimbursed my gas. I got an offer about 3 weeks later.
- Can you share an instance where you faced an ethical dilemma involving team members and how you resolved it?
Software Engineer
I got this interview through an on-campus job fair. The first round involved going through my resume point by point, asking behavioral questions about my experience and teamwork, and also touching on some technical skills.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What are all the ways to get a ball out of a box?
- Can you explain the force diagrams for devices?
Software Developer
The interview was about 4 hours long. It started with lunch and a tour, and ended with two panels. One panel was for technical stuff, the other was about how I work with people.
- Describe a time you encountered unethical behavior at a previous job and how you addressed it.
