First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Estée Lauder Companies.
Internship
If you are selected you will need to do an assignment (I had a powerpoint talking about why I wanted to work there). Then the next step is the final face to face interview, a mix of hr (star format answers) and technical.
- Can you tell us about a project you worked on?
Intern
The process was pretty straightforward. I first met the recruiter at the career fair. They told me to apply online and submit a resume. After that, I was invited to the interview, which consisted of behavioral questions that required me to reflect on my past experiences.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Intern
First, there's an initial screening call with HR. Then, if you make it past that, there's a second round which is a function-specific interview based on the team you applied for. After they confirm the offer, you'll be placed in a team/brand/function. The second round is a mix of behavioral and technical questions. They'll ask a few questions about data skills like Tableau, Excel, etc. (roles that are more data-based will have interviews that are more technical, including coding).
- What are your thoughts on how Estee Lauder can adapt to future trends?
- What motivates your interest in working at Estee Lauder?
- Can you tell us about your experience with data skills such as Tableau and Excel?
