Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Estée Lauder Companies.
Analyst
It was a 3 round interview process. The first round was with HR, who was very unprofessional and seemed to be only focused on her KPI. The interview was online, and she was yawning and playing on her phone the whole time. She asked a few questions and ended the call quickly. The next round was with the Hiring Manager, and the final round was with the Hiring Manager's superior.

The interview process was very comfortable and the manager was very nice. It was a good experience overall, with no pressure but still allowing me to focus on the interview. I think it was the best interview experience.
- What are your three hashtags?
Analyst
The interview process had 3 rounds. First was a Company Information Interview to give the candidate info about the company history, mission, culture, values, and the role's expectations. It was also a chance for the candidate to ask questions. Second was a Job-Specific Skills Interview, which was more technical and tested job-related skills, problem-solving, technical abilities, or insights on hypothetical job situations. This phase was crucial to ascertain the candidate's capability. Third was a Behavioral or Situational Interview to evaluate soft skills, behaviors, and company fit, asking for past experiences to demonstrate handling work situations, team dynamics, or leadership challenges.
