Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Essilor.
Manager
The interview was long and the questions felt useless, like they were just reading off a script. The interviewer seemed to lack creativity and wasn't really trying to figure out what kind of person they were looking for. They didn't seem to have any modern HR skills, more like someone just trying to get it done quickly without caring about who they were hiring.
- Can you tell me about your 5-year career goals?
- Do you have any questions regarding health and safety?
- What are your thoughts on salary expectations?
Senior Manager
It's a long process.. 1st round was with the HR followed by an AVP, Corporate Mission Director and VP. Post interview, another 2-3 weeks of waiting for the final offer. The candidate needs to be extremely patient as the hiring process can take easily 2-3 months.
- Can you share details about your work history?
- Tell me about your involvement in CSR activities.
Management Trainee
The whole process was held in our college. It had 3 rounds in total: Group Discussion, Aptitude Test, and Personal Interview. The interview was quite general and focused on my projects and college experiences.
- What is your field of interest?
