First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Essilor.
Jovem Aprendiz
The hiring process started with a screening stage where phone interviews were conducted to check some information and learn a bit about the candidate's life. Then, an email was sent informing whether you were selected or not to proceed, providing a day and location for a group dynamic activity which was done by dividing people into various groups. During the group dynamic, we were encouraged to communicate and share more about our personal lives. At the end, we had to write an essay answering questions from the managers present.
- In which sector do you fit best?
Intern
I had two interviews on the same day with my manager and their manager. The atmosphere was very friendly and they clearly explained the job responsibilities and the sector structure. They also answered all my questions very attentively. They speak English very well, and they asked me to speak English too.

- Questions related to the position
Intern
I got a call from HR and set up an interview for the next week. The interview itself felt really good from the start. The front desk and HR staff were really nice and helped me feel less nervous. I talked with a manager and a director. It was a nice chat, and they seemed really into what I had to say. They said they'd get back to me in a week, and they did. Everyone was enthusiastic, and overall, it was a great experience!
