Behavioral Coding

So, there were 2 rounds in the interview process. The first one was a phone call where they asked me some behavioral questions. The second round was a live coding session that was specific to the role, like using Flutter since I applied for the mobile development team. The interviewers were really polite and nice, and they were helpful if I got stuck, like they were trying to set me up for success.

Technical Coding

There was one phone interview, then two technical interviews. After that, they mentioned that other candidates were further along and had already received offers. It felt like a bad way to treat someone who had gone through so many interviews and was getting ready for what seemed like a final interview. Then they put me into another hiring process, only to get rejected after two interviews. Really disappointing process considering all the work I put in.

Applied online and then the team manager reached out directly for a phone screen. After passing that, the manager connected me to a recruiter. I spoke with the recruiter/HR and we scheduled the onsite. The onsite had 5 rounds: 3 technical, and the last 2 were with the CTO and then the recruiter again to discuss compensation. I felt really good about my performance and the whole process. The next day, I got feedback that I would definitely get an offer. A week later, I was rejected and my emails went unanswered.
