I applied online. After 3 days they send me an email to upload a document to have a test within 1 hour. It included many questions on general Java concepts and coding examples, Unix commands, database, and UML design. This was the first round. Then there was a code challenge where I had to implement a code within 1.5 hours.

I applied online and then was given links to appear for the test. Stage 1(60min): Basic conceptual questions on java, database, xml, linux (though the question standard was very low and lacked quality to evaluate candidates potential (bad experience on it as... questions were subjective with time limit of 60min) Stage 2(90min): Poorest of all coding test process I have ever faced: Question requires API access (Like google map api). No idea how to expect candidate to first look for suitable API then register account and get API key and code that too when the problem statement is of not much use : manipulation with timezone based on latitude and longitude. As such type of problem statements can be very well tackled when in need.

After applying, I didn't have a phone screen. Instead, a couple days later, I got an email with the first test. It was a link to a document with about 30 questions to answer in 1 hour, and then email them back. Two days after that, I got a second email with another test. This one was a coding challenge where I had to use the Google API to parse location data from a CSV file, with a 1.5-hour time limit to email the solution back. A few days later, HR called me. They said my submission was great and asked me some simple behavioral questions. I mentioned my salary expectations, which were about 25% higher than their offer and the same as my current job. I said I was open to negotiating based on other benefits like holidays and bonuses. They said they'd check with the hiring manager but I never heard back.
