Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Erewhon.
Cashier
The interview was pretty simple for the WeHO location! They asked basic questions that really looked for experience and a mature world view. It happened outside so it was a bit noisy, but it felt really good overall.
- Can you tell me about your background and experience?
- What made you apply to Erewhon?
- Have you had problems with coworkers before?
Cashier
The interview was pretty relaxed and they asked some basic questions. It was a quick session, only about 20 minutes long. I sat at a table inside and filled out a survey before talking to the manager. The interview felt a little too informal, and the manager seemed pretty uninterested, even from the beginning.
- What makes you want to work for Erewhon?
Barista
Applied online and got an email and text for an interview. Went early, and then had to wait outside for over an hour for my interview. Nobody came to get me or check on me until I went back inside to see what was up. Then they finally brought me in, no apology for the wait. They were super unorganized and unprofessional and didn't even know who I was.
- What feedback would your prior supervisor give about you?
- What is your motivation for seeking employment with us?
