I applied for a project management role and had a pretty straightforward interview process. It involved about two to three rounds with PMs, Managers, and Directors. They asked standard PMBOK questions and inquired about my past achievements.

The interview process involved several phone calls with recruiters. Then, I had a 1.5 hour phone interview with the hiring manager. After that, there was a panel interview with 4 people, and finally, an interview with the head PM. The tour of the building at the end was quite disturbing. The facility itself was nice, but the location where the project managers were stationed was not. They were the only ones in tiny honeycomb-shaped half-wall mini cubicles. It felt like senior management looked down on PMs, with 6 of them in a space smaller than my previous office. I wouldn't have interviewed if I'd known. This is why I didn't send a thank you note, hoping they wouldn't offer me the job.

I got ghosted after a phone screening and zoom interview with the hiring manager. I sent a thank-you note and followed up a few weeks later, but got no response. It's unprofessional to not let candidates know, especially after they promise to get back to you. Also, the recruiter and hiring manager didn't seem to agree on the job description.
