Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at EquiScript.
Sales
They flew me out, took me away from my family for two days, had me interview with the entire company (all day with no compensation). They basically interrogate you and judge you for an entire day and then you never hear from them again. If the company culture and “success” was so AMAZING they would not treat candidates so terrible. Don’t let them waste your time or money!
- Do you want us to waste your time
Inside Sales Representative
I did a phone interview first where they asked me basic stuff about my employment history. Then, about 4 days later, I came in for an in-person interview and then a working interview.
- Why are you the best fit for this role?
- Convey your confidence and abilities to meet job expectations.
- Show your interest in the company and its operations.
Sales
The interview process was really long, with multiple interviews and tests. It was an extensive process, but ultimately there was no offer. It took up a lot of my time and felt like a waste, and I had to reach out to find out the job was given to someone else.
- What are your thoughts on cold calling?
