Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Equinor.
Analyst
The whole thing from applying to getting that dumb automated email took 45 days. There were 2 rounds: first, a phone call with HR, and then a video panel interview with a senior manager, a manager, and an HR business partner.
- Can you describe a time you had to handle a situation where someone in your former team made a significant error in their work?
Analyst
The first step was a call with an external recruiter. After that, there was a behavioral questionnaire and then an interview with HR and the hiring manager. Overall, it was a good and efficient process, even though the hiring timeline was a bit long.
- What motivated you to apply for this role?
Analyst
Had a video call with the hiring manager and someone from the recruitment agency. We talked a lot about my past work and how I handle different work problems. The recruiter asked more about values. The whole thing was pretty good and not too hard, but it took them over two months to give me an offer, and the pay wasn't up for discussion.
- What are your strategies for getting management to support energy transition goals?
