Business Analyst
I went through a couple of interview rounds with different team members. It was mainly behavioral questions, with a small number of technical ones thrown in. The interview went well and the team seemed really nice, but sadly, the position was cancelled because of internal changes.
- Can you tell me something about yourself?
Business Analyst
It was a 4 round interview process. I cleared all rounds and they told me they would send an offer letter the next day and even advised me to resign on Friday to avoid losing two weekend days. However, after that, there was no communication from them for a week. When I reached out, they stated that it's November and they cannot increase headcount, so they are not hiring. My question is, if they weren't planning to hire, why conduct interviews? Everything should be clear before the interview, not after. I can't speak for other things, but they are unprofessional and unreliable. Basically, it was a waste of time.
- Questions on basic statistics and SAS coding were asked.
Business Analyst
I put in my application online. I had previously worked in the exact same role in a different region. About two weeks after applying, I got a call and we scheduled a phone interview. It was about 30 minutes long and covered my background and technical skills, and then the manager described the position. The manager was really friendly but professional. They mentioned they'd reach out in two weeks if they wanted to move forward. Three weeks went by with no word, so I figured that was that. Then, out of the blue, they emailed asking me to come in for an onsite interview. I met with the project manager, a team member, and a senior technical team member. Everyone was really professional and easy to talk to, and they made me feel comfortable. A week later, I got an email saying I didn't get the job.
- Can you describe your experience with Agile and how many years you've been working with it?
- What motivated you to apply for this specific role?
- Describe how you manage challenging circumstances.
