I interviewed for a KAM position at Equativ. The call with the recruiter went well, and I enjoyed talking about the role and my background. However, after a successful interview, I got no follow-up, even after chasing them. I get that companies get a lot of applications, but a simple email saying the final decision would really improve the candidate experience. It would stop applicants from waiting forever and boost the company's professional image. Better recruitment process tracking would show more appreciation for candidates' time and effort.

I applied directly to the Madrid office. The process took 3 weeks and was entirely online. It started with an HR screening in English. Then, I met with the Head of Service in Spain. After that, there was a technical test that took several hours, and interviews with the Country Manager of Spain and the Head of Service in Europe. A week after submitting the technical test, HR called to say I was the best candidate and perfect for the role, exceeding expectations. However, headquarters suddenly decided to cut the position, so there was no offer. The overall experience was good, with friendly interviewers and a fun test, but the budget cancellation right before the offer stage made it a bit negative.

I was first contacted by an external recruiter, then had a phone call with the hiring manager. A week later, I went on-site for meetings with the hiring manager and another team member. They asked about my background and gave me an hour to complete a technical test. The final step was a conversation with the Country Manager, and I got an offer about 30 minutes after that.
