First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Equativ.
Data Analyst

- How would you calculate revenue?
Key Account Manager
I interviewed for a KAM position at Equativ. The call with the recruiter went well, and I enjoyed talking about the role and my background. However, after a successful interview, I got no follow-up, even after chasing them. I get that companies get a lot of applications, but a simple email saying the final decision would really improve the candidate experience. It would stop applicants from waiting forever and boost the company's professional image. Better recruitment process tracking would show more appreciation for candidates' time and effort.
- Can you tell me about your background and why you're interested in this role?
Data Analyst Intern
So first I talked to a recruiter, and they asked me some general stuff about my skills and experience, and what I hope to get out of this internship. After that, they sent over a technical test in SQL. I had about an hour to complete it. It was like 6 or 7 questions about a database, and I had to write queries to get the info they wanted.
- Can you tell me about your academic background?
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
- How do you see this internship contributing to your long-term goals?
Marketing Data Analyst Intern
The interview process at Equativ was really transparent and fast, with great communication. It had 4 steps: First, a short ~15min call with the hiring manager. Then, an SQL test. After that, a call with two members of the Analytics team. Finally, a ~45min call with the hiring manager. Everyone I met was friendly and really took the time to explain the company's mission and the role itself. It was a positive candidate experience overall, and I liked how open each interviewer was. A big plus is that they welcome international students who aren't fluent in French; everyone I met was international.
- Can you share what motivates you to apply for this role?
- Could you discuss your past work experience?
- What university projects are relevant to this position?
