Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at EQT Corporation.
Intern
It was a great experience overall. The interview was mostly behavioral questions with a couple of simulated ones thrown in. It wasn't intimidating at all and felt like a pretty standard interview. I'd recommend highlighting your quick learning ability, your attention to detail, and your interest in living in the area.
- What would you do if you found an incorrect data point in your presentation?
Intern
The interview focused mostly on my resume and past experience. I got this interview through a campus recruiting event. It was a pretty chill and positive experience overall. They asked a lot of general questions that let me talk more about my experiences and what I want to do.
- Could you tell me about your biggest strengths and weaknesses?
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
Intern
You'll talk to one person, and you're really in charge of how it goes. If you're awkward or too nervous, it probably won't go well, so stay confident. Make sure you've researched the company so you know what they're all about and what they're trying to achieve.
- What is your knowledge of the company?
- Can you share your previous work history that makes you an ideal candidate?
