EQT Corporation Interview Questions
& Process

I had a Pre-Screening interview, it was a video recorded one where the computer asked me questions. After about a week, I was interviewed by two EQT HR people. They mentioned a third round and that they'd inform candidates if they weren't moving forward. I followed up with the HR Coordinator a week later, no response. Then two weeks after that, I followed up again, still no response. The very next day, I got an email from someone I didn't know at EQT saying I wasn't selected to proceed.

I sent my resume in through the broker. Then I had a meeting with the supervisor of title and procurement. We met in a conference room at the company headquarters. They asked me a little about my work history and some questions specific to title work. The interview was about 15 minutes long. After that, the broker let me know if I got offered the contract position.

First up was a video interview where I had to record myself answering some basic interview questions using my webcam. They threw in some technical stuff too, like asking me to explain how I'd do a reserve reconciliation, but I had to keep my answer to five minutes max. After that, I got invited for a second round. This one was all online via Webex and took up a big chunk of my day, meeting various people from the team, from VPs to individual contributors. Mostly standard questions, but it was a bit much having to reintroduce myself so many times.

I sent in my application online via the EQT website. About four weeks later, I had a video screening interview using Wepow. The HR team then got in touch with me, and five weeks after my initial screening, I had a 3-hour Webex interview with six people from EQT. The interview covered my technical skills, how I work, and my leadership abilities. The whole setup was really well done, and I had a great time – the people were fantastic, and the process was very professional and friendly.
