Had my initial phone screening and it went really well. I messaged the interviewer afterwards to thank them for chatting about the role, and they mentioned they enjoyed our conversation too and that I should hear back soon. A week later, I followed up about next steps, looking forward to them, but got no response at all.

I applied online for the job in San Diego and had a phone screen with the recruiter. He promised to call back for another interview twice but never did. After I emailed him, he finally set up the interview and said he'd call beforehand to check in, but again, no call. The interview with two managers was supposed to be two hours long. The manager started by asking me to turn on my camera, but neither of them did. It felt like it wasn't a real conversation from the start. She then grilled me about my resume and asked questions unrelated to the role I applied for. She rushed through them so much that I was just saying yes or no. She ended the interview 45 minutes early. I definitely wouldn't work with this company.

Applied online and everything was remote. HR called within a week to schedule the first interview, which was a standard HR chat. It went fine. The next week, I had an interview with a lead engineer. They had me rate my skills in different tech areas and asked questions based on my ratings. That went well too, and I got set up for a third interview. The third one was tough. We shared screens and coded online. There were three parts: a simple Java coding problem, a harder follow-up to the first coding problem, and a discussion about designing something with OOP. The first two coding problems were based on real issues they'd faced, which was neat. Everyone was friendly and professional. I felt good about Epsilon, and the recruiter called about a week later to talk offer details, which I accepted.
