Recruiter
Epitec was super quick and kept me in the loop. My first chat with HR was laid back and comfy, they really tried to make me feel at ease. They called me back on Jan 5th and asked for a corporate application and my college transcripts since the job post mentioned needing to be a grad with a 3.0 GPA. On Jan 6th, they scheduled me for a second interview on Jan 7th with the recruitment manager. This second chat was even more chill, just talking about my resume and past jobs. The interviewer was great and kept things relaxed and fun, even complimenting my college achievements and time management skills. They said they'd get back to me next week after discussing, but I actually got an offer 30 minutes later! They sent a contract the next day and were quick to answer my questions about it, even outside work hours. It was one of the fastest and smoothest interview processes I've been through.

Technical Recruiter
The interview process was quite straightforward. I was initially contacted by a corporate recruiter about an open position in TX. We discussed the role specifics and salary. Following that call, an in-person interview was scheduled. Upon arrival, the manager discussed the position and company structure. I barely had any questions asked about me, but instead, I was introduced to two other recruiters in similar roles. They shared insights about the job, and I asked them about responsibilities, challenges, and advice. The manager mentioned that previous technical recruiters didn't have prior experience, which boosted my confidence given my internship background. I found it odd that they focused more on describing the job than asking about my qualifications. What was even stranger was receiving a rejection email just 5 minutes after leaving, suggesting their decision was likely made beforehand, especially after discussing the role for over an hour. Despite a 30-minute drive each way for a job I hadn't actually applied for, I was rejected, and they apparently decided my fate within minutes. Kudos to Epitec.

Recruiter
Applied for the job. Had a phone screen, then 2 in-person interviews, and then got the offer. The first in-person was with the recruiter, who was upfront about the role. The second was with a manager where we talked about career paths at Epitec. It felt like a place with potential. Got an offer, then talked to another manager who basically said recruiters are easily replaceable and that turnover isn't a big deal for them. They're okay with people leaving because they can just hire more. If you're looking for a long-term career, be careful with Epitec.
