First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Epitec.
Customer Service Representative
The interview process was not good. They initially stated they had hired another candidate, but then contacted me the next day with an offer, contingent on another interview. The recruiter's initial explanation of a single-part interview proved inaccurate, leading to excessive back-and-forth communication. It felt like they were intentionally delaying the hiring decision. The lack of visible cameras during the Teams meeting also created an uncomfortable atmosphere.
- Can you tell me about your resume?
Software Engineer Intern
The interview process had 3 rounds. It started with a behavioral interview, and right after that, there was a technical interview where I had to solve a puzzle. After I passed that, I was given a take-home coding assignment. A week later, I had an interview to go over the technical take-home test. So, it was technically 2 interviews/meetings but three "rounds".
- What motivated your choice to apply to Epitec?
Project Manager
I applied to Epitec and after they shortlisted me, I had an interview with the client. I spoke with Monday and got an offer the next day, Tuesday. Epitec's questions were about showing off your skills, while the client's interview was more behavioral and situational.
- Can you share some of the challenges you encountered in your projects?
- What are your skills with MS Project?
- In a situation, how would you manage stakeholders?
Recruiter
Epitec was super quick and kept me in the loop. My first chat with HR was laid back and comfy, they really tried to make me feel at ease. They called me back on Jan 5th and asked for a corporate application and my college transcripts since the job post mentioned needing to be a grad with a 3.0 GPA. On Jan 6th, they scheduled me for a second interview on Jan 7th with the recruitment manager. This second chat was even more chill, just talking about my resume and past jobs. The interviewer was great and kept things relaxed and fun, even complimenting my college achievements and time management skills. They said they'd get back to me next week after discussing, but I actually got an offer 30 minutes later! They sent a contract the next day and were quick to answer my questions about it, even outside work hours. It was one of the fastest and smoothest interview processes I've been through.
