I applied online and then got an email to set up a phone call with the person in the role. It was a chill chat where she asked about my resume and I asked her questions. Super easy. Then I had to do an online personality test and a basic comprehension test, which were easy peasy. The last part was a week later - a way longer test that was about thinking fast, writing, reading, and logic. There was also a coding part that I thought was tough since I don't know coding and it felt weird for this job. A week later, I heard back that they weren't moving forward with me.

I threw my application to Epic and they hit me up right away for a phone interview. It was super chill and the person talking to me was really nice and easy to talk to. Like people said, the phone interview is the easy part. They just ask you basic stuff about your resume and what you've done. I got set up to do the skills assessment that same afternoon. I've never coded before and had no clue what was coming with the coding part. They actually said you don't need coding skills for it. Anyway, I didn't get called back for an onsite interview.

I applied online for the role because it fit my background. I was notified the same day that I was to be interviewed and was asked to complete a survey on my availability. The phone interview happened a few days later and the interviewer asked a lot of questions directly pertaining to my fit for the specific role. Online personality and aptitude tests were also required, which took about 2.5 hours total to complete and were mostly required to be done in one sitting. You should read up on ProctorU if you haven't used it before as it's a strict process.

He was really nice and asked about my resume, and then asked how I'd handle conflict in group projects and leadership roles. He also asked general questions like if I'd relocate or if I'm authorized to work in the US. Afterward, he talked more about Epic, the job, and my responsibilities.
