So the interview process for this role kicks off with submitting your application online. After that, you’ll go through three rounds of interviews with different people, like the hiring manager and folks from other teams. They also give you a take-home assignment to see how you handle real problems, communicate, and think strategically about the Customer Success job. They really care about teamwork, taking ownership, and always thinking about the customer.

Had a 30-minute call with the recruiter first. Then, a 60-minute call with potential peers. After that, a 2-hour virtual onsite with leadership. The onsite included a QBR presentation to a panel where they assess your live Q&A skills. This part is where things went downhill. There were two back-to-back 30-minute interviews, followed by a 1-hour presentation. Due to a scheduling conflict with one of the interviewers, I had to wait 45 minutes for one of the 30-minute interviews. Then came the presentation, and finally, the rescheduled 30-minute interview. They seemed to disregard my time, making me feel like I was at their mercy all day, especially since I was taking time off my current job. No one even offered an apology.

The interview started off on the wrong foot. The recruiter called nearly 10 minutes late without acknowledging it, which immediately left a negative impression. She quickly ran through the role details as if reading from a checklist, and the conversation lacked any real flow. We touched briefly on my experience, but the interaction felt rushed and disorganized, which only added to my frustration. I left the call with more questions about the role and company than I started with, and I didn’t feel excited about the opportunity. When I got the email a week later saying I wouldn’t be moving forward, I wasn’t surprised — if anything, I felt like I dodged a bullet.
