The hiring process was quite fast! After applying, I had an initial HR call about a week later. Then, three days passed before I had a video chat with my potential manager to discuss my experience and the role. The following week involved another video call, this time with two other managers I might collaborate with sometimes. Finally, two weeks after that, I had my last interview in person with one of the company founders.

The interview process was really well put together and went pretty smoothly. Envoy's People & Culture team was super quick with their emails and was really helpful and open about everything during the whole thing. We started with a phone chat with the People & Culture team, and then I had a couple more chats with the folks on the actual team I'd be joining.

We're all friends here. We hang out on the weekends so unless you're going to be our friend it's not going to work. This was stated to me during my interview by one of the designers. They had no interest in learning about my experience, design process, or portfolio. One of the two designers kept giving me the stink eye during my interview. It's pretty apparent how toxic the culture is at Envoy based on the statement above.
