They started with an online assessment which included 3 coding questions (easy-medium difficulty), 2 SQL queries, and some aptitude questions. After that, I had an interview at their office where they asked me about my projects, some oops concepts, sql, and dsa. The dsa questions were mostly easy.

Behavioral Coding

The interview process was pretty smooth, but they took a long time to get back to me. The first round was a screening based on my resume. The second was a coding assessment, and the third was with the engineering manager.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Could you explain what technical debt is?
  • Tell me about a challenging project you were involved in.

So first there was a phone interview, they called pretty much everyone. It wasn't really technical, mostly just questions about me and my background. Then I had this timed online test with puzzles and number stuff and checking if names matched. After that, a background check, and then the in-person interview. I met the CIO and two engineers, and they asked brain teasers and about my projects. They seemed to care more about how I think and my thought process, not just if I get the right answer, but if I'm adaptable and think critically. I struggled with the brain teasers, but I talked through how I was trying to solve them, and I think that was good.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • They asked a lot of brain teaser questions that require unconventional thinking, and they're not looking for pre-prepared answers. They want to hear how you approach solving a problem.
