First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Enterprise Peak.
Corporate Recruiter
So I would not recommend applying for a role with these guys. They will jerk you around and waste your time. You'll chat with some overly bubbly, insincere recruiter for 30 min, they'll butter you up, and make you feel like you are a great candidate. Then they'll send you some nonsensical test that takes 2 hours to complete, which the recruiter completely downplayed as this typical low pressure thing that all new hires had to complete. No big deal! I of course got rejected after the test, and they told me it was because of my "performance" on this assessment. What results exactly did they discern from such an awkward, outdated, poorly structured test that had little to do with the job they advertised? I have no idea, they gave me no feedback whatsoever. I pressed further and I was told that they went with other candidates that had more experience. Classic cop out. Of course, a couple months later they repost the same role that they supposedly "filled".
- How do you find passive candidates.
Technical Recruiter
Applied via LinkedIn and spoke with the hiring manager. Then got asked to do online 'technical assessments' - a typing test and a cognitive test, which weren't even recruiting related. The next day, I went onsite and had to do the SAME assessments for two hours straight. I didn't even get to talk to anyone 1:1. I followed up, and the hiring manager said he'd set up a chat with the Principal and me, but I never heard back. They seem to prefer old-school assessments over actual experience or people skills, especially for a recruiting job. Worst interview ever.
- What's your average WPM?
Technical Recruiter
So, I got my resume to the hiring manager via a contact. The process involved a 30-minute phone screen, followed by a 30-minute online technical assessment. After the phone interview went well, we set up the onsite. The onsite was about 2.5 to 3 hours long. The first part was a technical assessment focused on recruiting consultants, and then I met with the Hiring Manager and Principal Manager, and those talks went really well.
- Can you walk me through your previous work experience?
- What attracted you to EPeak?
- What's prompting your job search right now?
