So I would not recommend applying for a role with these guys. They will jerk you around and waste your time. You'll chat with some overly bubbly, insincere recruiter for 30 min, they'll butter you up, and make you feel like you are a great candidate. Then they'll send you some nonsensical test that takes 2 hours to complete, which the recruiter completely downplayed as this typical low pressure thing that all new hires had to complete. No big deal! I of course got rejected after the test, and they told me it was because of my "performance" on this assessment. What results exactly did they discern from such an awkward, outdated, poorly structured test that had little to do with the job they advertised? I have no idea, they gave me no feedback whatsoever. I pressed further and I was told that they went with other candidates that had more experience. Classic cop out. Of course, a couple months later they repost the same role that they supposedly "filled".

Behavioral Presentation

It started with a recruiter reaching out. Then there was a screening call, followed by several virtual interviews. The process wrapped up with an onsite interview that lasted about 3 hours. The whole thing took around 2 months. Compensation started at about $130k, but it kept going down with each interview. I expressed my concerns about this, feeling like a new door opened with a lower compensation range after each talk. Before agreeing to the onsite, I double-checked compensation requirements and got this response: 'Regarding compensation, I told X about your requirements for this job and we're working with accounting to create a competitive package. If you're a good fit for ePeak, we can adjust our budget accordingly.' They also said, 'We definitely know your time is super valuable, especially while you're still professional in your current job. We don't want to waste anyone's time and hope that's mutual!' After the onsite and more talks, I got a verbal offer for $65,000, which was over 50% less than the initial range discussed. I'm not continuing with this. I hope others have a better experience and suggest being careful with your time on this hiring process. Transparency and integrity are key and were completely missing here.

Applied on LinkedIn and got a call from a recruiter, who gave a basic rundown and mentioned it's a progressive company. Then there was a TYPING test and an aptitude test, followed by a meeting with a co-founder. The co-founder was nice, but we had this 'fancy' chat about team building for a staff augmentation firm that typically has high internal turnover. I was thanked for my time, and they said they'd reach out if they changed their minds, so there's still a possibility, apparently.

So, I got my resume to the hiring manager via a contact. The process involved a 30-minute phone screen, followed by a 30-minute online technical assessment. After the phone interview went well, we set up the onsite. The onsite was about 2.5 to 3 hours long. The first part was a technical assessment focused on recruiting consultants, and then I met with the Hiring Manager and Principal Manager, and those talks went really well.
