Events Manager
After submitting my application and cover letter, I was emailed by the in-house recruiter to set up an initial 30-minute chat. This call covered my background and experience to see if it fit what they were looking for. They told me that if I moved on, I'd get an assignment simulating daily tasks with a 48-hour deadline. The assignment was pretty good for testing skills, and while the time was fair, it was tough to finish everything and double-check it.
- Which company value resonates most with you?
Event Coordinator
I have not interviewed for the role, but I did consider applying and thought a specific question asked during the application process was worth noting here. I include the question below and hope that the hiring manager or someone within the HR will see and reevaluate the question in their applications.
- Do you have any responsibilities other than work that will interfere with specific job requirements such as traveling?
Events Manager
I had a 30-minute Zoom chat with HR, then there was a technical assessment that felt pretty easy given my background, though I did wonder if there was a hidden trick to it. After that, I spoke with an Ops manager, and the last interview was with the director of operations. Everyone was really nice and the interviews went smoothly. Unfortunately, I didn't get an offer and got a generic rejection email. I tried to follow up for feedback on why I wasn't selected, but couldn't get in touch with anyone, which was disappointing.
- Can you describe your work style?
