The interview had a phone screen and then a follow up in person or teams interview. They were kinda slow with responses and getting back to me. Pay was okay compared to other internships.

I applied online and then the hiring manager called me to set up an interview for a month later. They also asked me some technical questions over the phone. The actual interview had 3 engineers, including the hiring manager. We mostly talked about my experience and resume, and they asked typical behavioral questions. They were taking notes while I spoke.

I talked to a recruiter at a career fair at my school. We scheduled an interview for the next day at the university's Career Center, which lasted about 30-45 minutes. It was more of a chat than a formal interview. The recruiter, who was an Engineer and represented the Hiring Manager, told me about the job and office environment. The questions were mostly about my resume, personal life, and interests. About two weeks later, the same recruiter called to say his manager wanted to interview me formally at the job location, which was 3 hours away. They said they'd pay for my gas and hotel. I agreed. On the interview day, I met the Hiring Manager, a supervisor, and the recruiter. She asked more formal questions but mainly wanted to get to know me. We had lunch, I toured the facility, and met some Engineers to see their daily work. I accepted the job and set my start date right then. It was a great experience!
